- I agree with the top being White. This doesn't appear to be a transparent sticker
- I don't know what you mean by "all the way to the border". The pictures of the sticker on the sheet and the sticker on the model show the red chevrons going to the edge

yes, in that BL pic it also looks like the tail has a sticker instead of a print

The sticker sheet does not include the tailfin sticker, so I don't assume it exists that way. Prototype image on the box, as said.
Compare for example 1998 Adventurers sets which all have the scorpion piece with solid stud, which was never released in sets as well.
