It would be better to download a fresh file of ldd data and start over.
This file is basically that. Raw data, unprocessed, bad origin and missing all condlines.

check similar parts for origin.

The actual origin of the original LDD part is actually good, at the centre of the handle.

Reworked the part: added conditional lines and change the shape acordingly (based on photos). Digital-bricks.de have the same part as Studio.

It seems that intersection lines with the spheres are not calculated with enough precision, they are sometimes hidden:

Description doesn't follow LDraw usages, should be something like "Minifig Blade with Bar Handle and Spikes" with Weapon as keyword.
Maybe orientation should follow the one of 19179: https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/19179.dat

The intersection lines need to be more hidden or need to match the edge lines (in such case, need to add more surfaces)?

The pics I find are no clear on the subject. If you think it is simetrical I will do it.

Question is: why would the upper part be asymetrical but the lower part not? It's not to accomdate a minifig hand, 'cos there is the grip. To save material? Do you have the chance to get your hands on it?

I haven't the real life part, unfortunatly, but as I wrote before, it is from Stud.io. So I think it's a flaw of theirs and need to be symmetrical. I'm going to fix it.
