I do not believe the turnout is to the correct dimensions, needs farther investigation by others.
I have constructed several test track layouts in real world that could not be replicated in LDraw without overlap or misalignment.

Concerning the naming, wouldn't that be a -f1 -f2 part?

I second Gerald's suggestion for renaming.
This shortcut is similar to 70028-f1 and 70028-f2 and usually you don't replace 2866 with another part (which leads to a variant of 2861cXX).
This is a "shortcuts with more than one physical configuration".
I would like to certify and let the admin do the renaming...

Part 2866 is too high and intersects with 2864.

Part 2866 needs to be lowered by 2 LDU and rotated only by 28,28 deg to not intersect

It will still intersect with 2864, but that needs to be addressed in 2864
