Given what this part is for, I wonder if it would be better if it had a BFC NOCLIP statement before the opaque geometry. I realize that renderers (like LDView) should do that automatically when rendering opaque geometry inside a transparent part, but this part is so specific that I don't think having that NOCLIP statement would every hurt anything.

The color 16 portions of the pattern should not be NOCLIP. (this is the hold reason)

Also while 35298 may be the transparent number, my understanding is we typically group everything under the opaque number.
