Did this some time ago, but the pattern on my part is not that clear anymore. Used several online pictures, lots of variations so did some guessing about how the pattern should look like.

Yes, the jewel should be bigger and fit the black ring inside.

increased size of jewel to fit inside the ring. Pictures still show an area between the black ring and jewel, but makes more sense to have these fit together.
