Holding only for above reason, but I'm quite sure the axle should be Translucent-White (colour 79) for the axle.

Also you should use axlehol2.dat for the edgelines of the axlehole instead of manually specifying them.

Perhaps also run this through Rectifier to optimize part?

Axle changed to color 79.
File rectifier'ed and DATHeader'ed.
Use of axlehol2 primitive now to simplify file.
Some subassemblies moved to subpart files.
Please discard old subpart files and reload new one before donwload/use this file.
Trying to change orientation to match similar parts but not sure if correct. Please advise.

Orientation is good.
Could use stug2a.dat and stug4a.dat primitives.
The first few rectangles could be replaced with a single box5-4a.dat primitive.

Oh, and with White Axleholes could be removed from title. They all have white axleholes, don't they? (and it's not really White, but Translucent-White anyway..) ;-)

Here, too: !LDRAW_ORG line should be !LDRAW_ORG Unofficial_Part. Also, !CATEGORY is unneeded as the category defaults to the first word of the part title, if omitted.

I had nearly forgotten how easy change of winding is with DATHeader.

if this is a XXXc01, then there must be a XXX part IMHO.
this actually should be changed to being a shortcut which composes
the main part body with the white axlehole.

I've split this into two parts, Axle and Housing.

Do we know the correct numbers or shouls I use two u9??? numbers.

Should this file be renumberd to only 54802?

IMO, the name should be "Motor Flywheel 4 x 9 x 2.333"
Nearly all the other have been renamed, and don't use "Technic ..."

It could use the new splitted studs to, stud4sl and stud4sp.

54802 is the whole assembly. According to LEGO replacements parts:
"FLYWHEEL 4X8X3 2/3 VER.1
Color Family: Black
Exact Color: BLACK

54800 and 54801 are related to it, 54801 beeing a gear and 54800 the flywheel itself???.

I prefer the 'Inertia' qualifier used by BrickLink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?q=flywheel

Just calling this a 'Motor' rather implies that it's electric, which is obviously not the case.

I seriously doubt that the whole assembly is 54802 'cos this number is stamped on the bottom of the housing.
