A few notes:
- a lot of what looks like cylinders are actually cones! Not even the top axlehole top part is flat... who designed this?!
- the ventilation holes should've been their own subfile but I didn't think it through all the way, so I wound up doing them *last*, which means that if I now subfile them it's probably going to leave a ton of inaccuracies all around. I should've modeled the holes from the get go... which is the primary reason that the subfile is so huge!
- edger will probably create a lot of unmatched edges at the ventilation holes again because of the slight inaccuracies. I threw Unificator at it but even at 0.01 threshold it didn't budge...
- the ventilation holes were done by first mapping the holes as a flat pattern, projecting it with slicerpro and then making the tubes by extruding the edges and cutting with intersector, the last part is probably responsible for the inaccuracies.
- the business end of the part is very intricate from the inside. I tried to model it as accurately as I could and I got most of the details but had to omit a couple of them to get it done. Peeking inside this was hard enough as it is and it being black most certainly didn't help! But since it's black I don't think that many people will complain that there's a slight detail missing... that you can't really even see if you don't disassemble the skyblaster.
- the backmost top axlehole is made out of quads, there's no hope modeling it with primitives. Maybe it should be hinted with an invisible axlehole primitive for connection-seeking applications?
- the caliper really helped get this right but I still can't help but imagine that the front claws (the ones with the triangles) are a bit too wide... oh well, I think it looks fine nevertheless.
