- Adding a 4-4ering around axlehole primitives improves primitive substitution
- A single quad inside the panel above the axleholes (instead of tri/quad/tri) provides smoother result (granted, at the "cost" of T junctions)

I first thought of using chrd instead of the ring and fill it with triangles, gives me a lot of surfaces, but prim subst works perfectly, will try this suggestion

yes, those TJ should be - don't listen - ok
another posibilits would be to split the remaining quads in three

Using subfile s\71682s01.dat
I added the missing erings and decided to replace the tri/quad/tri-combo by rect2p primitive. T-junctions are allowed with using primitives, aren't they?
