Upper section looks great, but the lower half causes collision when two are placed side by side as in the official set. Should the bottom edge be flared out more widely, almost like the cape version (c01)?

Looks like you've used the same workaround that I did, which is to apply a rotation to the part. That can work, but perhaps the rotation should be baked into the part…or at least a !HELP line added, perhaps?
But I also noticed from set photos, or e.g. page 25 of the BI, that the part does take on more of a sweeping shape at the bottom…of course, this is flexible fabric, so there will be endless variations.
Anyway, these are design considerations and necessarily subjective, but I thought it would be helpful to offer feedback as a user in the intended use case.
