searched through my Slopes and found some old versions which havent been registered here.
corrected some BFC errors inside the holes
I think this is a duplicate of official s\3660bs01.dat
correct me if I'm wrong please.
if this really is a new variant of the inverted slope, then we need to bring all 3 variants onto the PT and harmonize/cleanup
their titles.

no, this one has smaller stud holes, look here:
https://rebrickable.com/parts/3660/slope-inverted-45-2-x-2-ovoid-bottom-pin-bar-sized-stud-holes/
this one is version 3 with 2,4mm holes (6LDU) instead of the usual 3,2mm (8LDU).
There are at least 4 versions of these holed studs here: small, medium (2,8mm), normal and with stoppers.
(the medium variant also has a wider lip)
The bottom also varies: smooth sides with round pin, flat pin and flat with ridges.
76959.dat has another version: round pin with ridges.
I actually own this part, also confirmed the bottom: flat bottom pin and smooth sides (no ridges).
The p02 version is the one without the white rim around the screen for white parts (these seem to have another variant of this print)

Typically we only add a variant to the library if it is functionally different. I'll leave it to the senior review to determine if this difference qualifies as functional.

did the senior council discuss this yet or not?
2023-06-20 19:43:20
There isn't a "senior review council". All significant discussion happens either here in the comments or on the forums. If you want an answer sooner, post a thread on the forums.

any progress here? should the variant names be shuffled?

I think this should be the D version (can someone swap the indexes, please?)
then it would be as following:
3660 - already obsolete
3660a - should get obsoleted, doesnt exist
3660b - exists, newest of the 3660
3660c - exists, older version
3660d - exists, oldest version (this part)
3660e - variant of d, but rare
3660f+g - special variants (strange hole size, rare)
b+c+d are the common variants, with prints (we have to check which print is where...)

Could you please make a list of all the affected files, that will follow after a change of these subfiles?
And send it to me?
And send it to me?

"parts/s/3660fs01.dat" to "parts/s/3660ds01.dat"

thanks, Magnus
* Does not add any functionally. This is just bloat confusing the casual user.
