The pattern itself is fine, just the embedding:
to proper match round stuff with patters, we generally use chord primitives, as in standard resolution (16 sides cyl) your patterns has overhangs
So the rounded corners should be constructed using this:

Pattern is fine, however I would reduce the resolution of the white ellipse around the text. Unfortunately no primitve can achieve the thin line. At longer curve I would merge three of the segments and at the smaller curves two segments, reducing surfaces, without loosing too much detail on the pattern, e.g.:
