would it work to use BFC NOCLIP with submodels? because now its possible to look into the transparent center parts and see the BFC-transparent back of the non-transparent sides...

Hm.
Aren't these a blend of 2 trans colours?

When there is a blend, or dual moulding, there should be a surface "inside" the non-transparent section.
The solid coloured section is a closed mesh. And then the trans part is added on top, as a second skin, or surface.
But what is the base way to go when there are 2 trans colours?
