Sorry, but what makes these different from the official parts
u9004c01
u9004c02
u9005c01
4707c01
4707c02
4707c03
They looked familiar. I should have checked this sooner.

he added much more details on the insides, I just checked mine: there are different variants...
(he made another version than the existing ones, for example check the power pickup on the left side)

yes, i have read the post (thanks for the links for how to open them) and then I checked my physical parts:
-2 Switch controls (your new version)
-2 Switch controls (the old official version)
-Signal and Crossing Switch (old version)
-I dont have the other switch versions, but have more of the normal ones stored somewhere.
the old ones have the bottom part number 4707, your newer ones not...
cant see which version is physically older.

Here is a video that maybe can clarify wich is the oldest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSuyCkAyjVE&ab_channel=Reker1million

thanks for the link, your new variant is actually the chronologically older version.

But that opens another question: are all prints on both variants? Because the Arrow Print appeared very late, so I guess its only on the existing version, not on your new variant.

Rene: you are right; this version dosn't exist. Since it date from 1986, it correspond only to the new variant (part 4707). I ask a deletion for this part, then correct the others' numbers. I need to do this or the PT Admin can do that?

this part is a duplicate of official 4707c01.dat

instead of duplicating existing official files, you should improve them.
otherwise this part library would become a hell of a mess.

Many of the plugs are inverted, and that makes it impossible to inline it in LDCad.

I am additionally frustrated that my original authorship has been removed completely.
If a part gets improved over time, normally the original author is kept, and an entry to the !HISTORY section is added.
I do not understand why this was not done here.

To not create too much hassle here, I retract my hold vote and let you proceed as you think reasonable.
I am ok with you taking over authorship from my file, obsoletizing my previous implementation, renumbering and creating 2 variants.
However, I think that the decision to obsoletize my previous version was wrong, as the geometry has not incompatibly changed. The proper way would have
been to simply add details and document that with a !HISTORY line. That said, go ahead. I myself currently have no time+energy to spend here.
