Update ring primitives via script. This will not reset the vote status of the part.

confricrib4 can't be used here. It's open in both ends.

I think this number should be an alias of 32556b, currently missing, but I'm working on it.
None of my 39888 have the recessed flat surface shown on the images at RB, making them identical.
I have also made a new rib primitive to be used on this, and other 3L pins.

Is it ok if I fix this?

I think the ring should be longer, and the slot shorter.

OK! I will fix the slot to 4mm. Do you like to change the ring, if you already made a new one?

No, I did it just like you, only extended it to be 3-8.

I was wrong. There is a recessed surface on one of the flat sections.
Which makes 39888 different from 32556b. No alias.

And you changed the ends, correctly. 39888 should use connectcollar5.
32556a and b have the older design.

If we need to show the recessed surface on this part, we should do it with all Technic Pins "Type 2" like 61332.dat, 42924.dat and 65304.dat as well. The all have the same design of collar.
From functional aspect of part usage I think, we could keep the "simplified" design of 61332.dat, 42924.dat and 65304.dat and use it for 39888.dat as well.

Why did you not place the stopper ring surface in the primitive?

I wrote: "Couldn't it be added once in connectslit4 instead 4 times in the parts using it?"
But then I realized it doesn't work in 32556a.

I find it odd to call this Type 2, when it has two previous versions.
But it is better than mine, describing something that wasn't there.
