I think you should use unrotated 1-8 prims for the rounded 45° corners...

Unrotated 1-8 chrds are preferred, but the gap due to rounding is sufficiently small.

I am going for a hold, not so much for tha gap, which coulb be closed with sufficient decimals when using a "floating" rotated prim, but more for the looks.

When the transition is made into a 45 deg line, use a 1-8 chrd (unrotated) the 3-16 is actually zoo much and will give unpleasand results when primitive subsitution is used in rendereres liek LDView or also in Studio.

TO verify this during yuthoring simply switch to a 48-prim if this might happen.
