- Part number for the assembly is 100943, so with DBG shaft this assembly should be 100943p01.
https://rebrickable.com/parts/100943/technic-steering-wheel-hub-holder-with-2-ball-joints-and-2-axle-holes/
- CV socket part number is 3467 and wheel holder is 3465. Both of them have some visual differences compared to 46434 / u9477
Not sure it's worth modeling, but if needed I have files for them, adapted from LEGO BIs 3D files.
- Since CV socket and wheel holder are linked together there should be a mechanical shortcut for this assembly (3465c01).

"- Since CV socket and wheel holder are linked together there should be a mechanical shortcut for this assembly (3465c01)."

Are you sure of them being an assembly? Cuoldn't it be just one part?

I wondered the reason why too. Yes, they are an assembly (separated meshes and design number in BIs app). Might be for a molding reason...

"- Part number for the assembly is 100943, so with DBG shaft this assembly should be 100943p01."
Bricklink lists the part as https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3468c01
Do you mean 100943c01 or 100943p01? Because it is not a patterned part.
Shall we stay with 3468c01 or change?

"Not sure it's worth modeling, but if needed I have files for them, adapted from LEGO BIs 3D files."
Would you share your 3D files? - Then I would give a try to add these parts.

I think this could be a shortcut...
Is the wheel hub one part or is this the version with reduction?

It is a 1:1 connection without reduction.

@Philo, your suggested part no. 3465 is already occupied by https://library.ldraw.org/official/6114

I meant 100943p01. 100943 is already an assembly, no need for cxx suffix. p01 to allow future color variations, see for example the various colors of shock absorber 79717

"@Philo, your suggested part no. 3465 is already occupied by https://library.ldraw.org/official/6114"
It's infortunate... Probably a mistake when naming the propeller, I find no reference for this part number. The CV socket should then become 3465a

Philo and me were working on the same part at the same time. We merged our work and this is the result. Many Thanks to Philo for his support!

Is it correct that none of the old parts could be reused? All the components are redesigned?

Maybe the older parts are incorrect?

As far as I can tell all compositing parts are different, except perhaps the very simple body front.
