I wonder if creating a subpart here is worth it. anyway the part is ready for it (after corrections if needed).

Nice to see some more Town Junior parts!

Not really sure about this, since this is rarely been considered, but the black outlines look a bit thin.
This part usually pairs with the likes of
2513p02 (https://library.ldraw.org/official/2593)
3010p71 (https://library.ldraw.org/official/3935)

Which seem to have thicker outlines.

I modified the left outline ( x 1.5) and kept the right to have a comparison point.

Yes, it's scheduled. I'm just waiting for some feedback about the black outline size change (Takeshi allready answered in PM)

I think the thicker version is better. Might even need to be even thicker.
Or is 3010p71 too thick?

I tried to make the outline thicker (x2 instead ofx1.5) and I was not convinced, it modified the orange light shape. Then LDPE crashed And I didn't have the courage to make it again for now.

Sorry for the late reply.

The older parts use a thickness of about 1 LDU, but strangely the thickness is off by the third decimal, which I doubt the real part is supposed to be that accurate. Some images I found even have mildly varying line thickness on the same part, which I also think is not intentional.

Like Magnus said, I am also being to suspect, that the older files might have too thick of a line. Also they probably could benefit from primitives like your part does.

the third decimal may come from the transformation matrix of part s/2513p03s01

Re-checked it, it is actually more like 0.9 LDU thickness, at least on the pattern subfile.

I am beginning to see the issue here, the outline looks better I would say, though the orange light looks almost rectangular, which it clearly is not on the real part.
Have you tried smaller radii on the orange one?
