I have a question about stickers on parts. Why the color is 16 and not the right color of the stickers base (white or transparent mainly) ?

Most builder don't want to have a thin white side visible. The backside is user configurable, and users want it to blend in to either the brick or the top surface of the sticker. We agreed on setting the sticker colour to 16. In most cases it will blend in.
But since this decision we have created the very transparent sticker colour 10047.
