The logo is just edge lines on a flat surface, this is not seen if this is rendered. it can only be seen in LDView.
I would go for one of the raised ones, logo3 or logo4, which have a 3D geometry

you made the dot colour 4 , which is opaque, so IMHO ok.
If you would make it transparent (as it is sopposed to hide a lamp(?)), I would go for the hole, but then you need to add some visibility blocker as well
