to get an equal rim, I would suggest to scale the subpart to R10LDU and then scale it here x1.8 and in the 6451155a.dat x2.8

It looks good to me, as it is made now.
Please use 1-8 and 1-4 chrds to properly pad the pattern into the circle
*bottom of trident misses an edge
*center tip of trident needs to be sharper
*why orient vertically? The real part has it at roughly 45 degree (needs to be measured likely)

This orientation is per spec. IF the real part has it rotated then it should be rotated on the shortcut.

My argument would be:
While it could be argued that the "logical" orientation of the trident would be upright, it contradicts the "applied" form. And this shape is technically a logo, not a "full trident".
This might be a redundant discussion, but I think in terms of geometry and rounding errors, having the base orientation match the applied version will cause less issues.
Should this be discussed in the forums?

It hurts nothing to have the icon aligned to the axes. This is the correct orientation. How it's printed is irrelevant.

Ok I'll take it back - I found this 59231pb03 having the logo upright.
