Indeed, the black stripe is wider and, of course, not tapered. In the high-resolution scans from Rene R., the stripe is placed slightly asymmetrical with respect to the cutlines. I’ve placed the stripe symmetrically. Not sure what is right.

yes the lego print isnt perfect...
but try to do these stickers as ideal as possible (symmetric, clear borders, straight, "ideal" values)
so your part is good now.
