Correct middle box and plug color

you could use u9190c01.dat (no need to make an own cable...)
or maybe use u9190.dat (same cable segment, but open)
and watch out for the subpart links, you use both / and \ (both work, but / causes errors)

Convert all occurrences of s/ to s\

| watch out for the subpart links, you use both / and \ (both work, but / causes errors)

Understood. I've corrected all occurrences of / to \.

| you could use u9190c01.dat (no need to make an own cable...)

The u9190 segment is incompatible with Light Middle Box 62501c01.
Light Middle Box 62501c01 uses the u9028 segment, I could not find one that uses u9190 - do you know if one exists ?
Similarly, I could not find a Light with Cable Horizontal using the u9190 segment, 62498c02 uses u9028.
Using s\58124s03 maintains the pattern used by the other Electric Power Functions 58...parts.

u9190.dat (https://library.ldraw.org/parts/15838) is the same as the s\58124s03.dat (https://library.ldraw.org/parts/19523) without the closed end.
u9190.dat is used in u9190c01.dat (https://library.ldraw.org/parts/15839), which itself is used for the other PF shortcuts (motors and extension).
this saves some code by not needing to model the full coil in every part.
and the middle box is black again now... (should be color 16)

Replace s\58124s03 Main Cable segments with u9190c01 Main Cable and Plug and set Middle Box color to 16

much better, but the origin is off (the center brick should be at 0 0 0)

| ...u9190.dat is used in u9190c01.dat

Indeed. On my initial attempt to use u9190c01, it seemed like the individual main cable disc diameter was smaller than those fitted to the middle box. On taking a second look, this was not the case.

Yep - I used LeoCAD so I didn't have the support of a true authoring package. Many thanks for your review.

for parts, LDPE (LDrawPartsEditor) is better...
maybe do the other not-yet-cabled PF shortcuts next?
@admin: maybe add the Keywords: peeron x1917cx1, Bricklink 61930c01, Rebrickable 61930, Brickowl ID 344712-38 (also has 16516 as Lego ID)

These parts appear to not have cabled shortcuts. Is this list exhaustive ?
- 87577 Electric, Motor 9V Power Functions with Gear Reduction Ratio 9.5 : 1
- 87574 Power Functions Train Motor
- 63523 Electric Sensor, Motion - WeDo Robotics
- 63521 Electric Hub, USB - WeDo Robotics

watch out: the WeDo sensord have a shorter cable and the flat connector...
the IR receivers also seem to miss the cabled versions.

hm, scrap the "shorter cable" comment... (guess you can still edit the cable shortcut for the sensors, just swap the plug)
the pole reverser also misses the cabled shortcut.

A shortcut can only be made from other parts. This file is using a subfile twice. The only exeption to this is part 22168.
The other shortcuts including a cable are all XXXXXc01. This one, and 22168, isn't.
Why?
Rene Rechthaler [Blechtaler]
Part Header Editor
made the following comment.

because this subpart is only used here...
all other cabled shortcuts are part shortcut+cable shortcut.
this one has the thin coil which is used only in this shortcut, so its a part-shortcut-subfile...

So what must be done to unblock the error ? Should subfile s\61930s01 be renamed to a u... part ?
