as seen on new E

There is a small hole (moulding artefact) in the centre of the clip to reduce material and allow for better cooling, I did not model this yet as it seems smaller than a 2 LDU radius which could be used for connections. need to check the real part or the mesh

should the cylc get flipped? then it would be closed under the stud and would allow a better connection to the clip...

still think the cylc should be flipped:
-the stud is on a solid plane like usual
-the bottom clip is now on a solid plane, but should be integrated/cut out
-no need for the ring prims, close the bottom with chrd+triangles

Rene, given that the current design is no hold reason, there is no difference whether the stud of the clip sits on the disc of the cylc

I would rather replace the clyc by a cylo to to have them embedded both

I would definitely rather use a disc on top and bottom to minimize surfaces!!!!

this part is now also availiable transparent (Set 31216), the underside should be cut out...
normally, studs arent cut out and placed on a closed face instead.

why stud2a? could use cylc(top closed)+stud2 to allow better stud interchangeability... (also has the logo then)

and the top could get reduced faces and vertices by using cylc
