using 2-4chrd instead of 2-4disc can help for that (to get rid of the center vertex)

I used a new stickerback subfile and changed dimensions from 0.8 x 2.8 to 0.8 x 2.5 which I measured on my stickersheet.
Used 2-4chrd. Again what learned!

A minor nitpick would be that T-junc caused by the disc prims is sometimes adressed and sometimes not. Some probably would not mind in this case, but usually it's better to have the T-junc removed.
