I'd say the old p52 is wrong, missing the three bottom rings. The rings are squared on p52.

if the front half of this gets a separate file, should it be 973p6ls02 or 973p52s01?
I would tend to 973p52s01, use it in 973p52 and 973p6l.
Or is the change that big that p52 has to be obsoleted?

I tend to confirm that old and new are identical.

Any "difference" I could spot was likely just an issue with print strength or so subtle it would be hard to recreate accurately. As far as I can tell other sites also tend to see no difference.

Note that there was another eissue of the Blacktron I torso from the minifig collections (around 2010) which seems to have thicker lines and dots.

Maybe I found one afterall:
The upper and lower segments of the "shoulder belts" seem to be thicker than the rest (if that can be found on all parts).
The original seems to have them all the same size.

Minor ones I found:
*The white trapezoidal shape at the neck seems a bit wider on the original
*The 3 black rings at the bottom seem larger and thinner
*The black circles in the mid area seem slightly smaller, more apart and a bit lower

i checked some of my spare torsos (all old ones), even there are differences...
-> line thickness, ring thickness, color intensity, position (print shift)
