you could put the handle in the main file and reduce this to a quarter
maybe even put a 1-4tang at the top and an inverted 4-4cylc in the main part.

the condline issue can be reduced by using a cylc prim for the inside
Changed inner cyl to prim as suggested. Used standard 16-res, but it clashes a bit with the 24-fold symmetry at the top. Would 64-hires be overkill?

standard res is enough for the inside, should still get cut down to a quarter (put the seam rects in the main file)
Reverted to 24-fold inner cylinder to honor original authors design. I also find it pleasing my eye more than the 16-fold standard res cylinder.
Added missing cond lines to inner cyl and the small fin at the top. Removed more T-junctions. Added some box and rect prims.
Changed date as it is now over midnight.
I'm now done with the part (assuming I haven't introduced any direct errors). As Orion points out, anyone may edit.

could use 48 prims then those gaps can be avoided

Removed microgaps inside, outside, top and bottom. Removed duplicated cond lines on outer cyl.
