- why are the center vertices inconsistent? (the center groove has them and doesnt need them, but the ndis have them partially...)

the square socket inside still has center vertices, why? also could be done with an inverted box prim...

Made changes to joint8socket2 even though the two parts are independent.
Joint8socket2 has the edgeline at the base that does not allow it to be stretched as needed for 30842s03.

Remove the edge lines in joint8socket2, and rework the 2 parts that need them.
Then you can use that prim here, instead of this subfile.
