should the metal axle be a separare part?

or would it be sufficient if there is just a metal dot at the front?
is the metal axle length correct? if this motor is a standard flat DC motor the axle should be longer (nearly to the back of the housing)
did anyone open one of these? is a "normal" motor inside (like the 12V/4V replacement train motor) or something custom?
is the cone at the rear correct? as of now there is a gap at the assembly where you can see inside and see the axle...

I think it's fine to leave as is. The inside axle will almost never been seen.

and move the cone to close the gap in the assembly

just zoom in on 74569p01.dat at the connection from this to the outer shells, as of now there is a gap where you can see the inside and the inner part of the metal axle...
