Is the category correct?

Category looks good... You're going to model the Control Center set?
Thanks, and corrected the size

This is a Peeron partnumber. Should we really use them?
2025-11-03 18:28:23
full edgelines? or none like stickers? (has the same .25 thickness)

U+peeron number used to be the way to go...
This is a standalone part, so needs edge lines. They are suppressed for stickers since they are too prominent when applied on a part.

is this even an u-number? or should it be a t-number?
(edgelines are also very prominent here, maybe too much)

t is not appropriate so u number is fine for this.
2025-11-03 19:18:47
it could also be used for Set 1092-E (electronic plotter)
2025-11-03 19:24:03
sorry Dacta Technic 1092-A is the plotter (uses the same 24x24 plate 367)

Did these come loose or like a bound pad?
2025-11-04 19:42:06
BL says a pack of loose sheets...
(no count stated)
would it be ok to create a "shortcut" for that stack made of a single higher box?

According to the stated weight that would be roughly 20-30 sheets (though the accuracy of that statement might be debatable).
I found an image on Ebay that seems to confirm the BL image as loose sheets. I am surprised though that the build seems to work better with a stack than a single sheet...
BL doesn't have separate entries for block and sheet. Still add the link for bb0094?

What model use is a stack of sheets? Presumably they're used one at a time.

I was a little mistaken by the last page of the instructions, where it looked like the clamps at the back of the plate would work better with multiple ones instead of a single one. I didn't see the rubber band holding it in place, so it should work with a single one too.
They still imply to use multiple ones.
If they are loose, I don't think there's a point in a shortcut.

using multiple sheets makes drawing easier because then the pen doesnt scratch that much on the hard baseplate...
I would suggest to use a box5-12.dat with a quad (like a sticker), then stacking wont be a problem (as of now you will get solid black sides from the many stacked edgelines)
could then even do some fake used sheets with circles (from the two-wheeled A model) and one with lines (B Model Plotter) like a sticker

I don't want to fall down this rabbit hole too far for a non-LEGO object. I think 1 sheet is fine. Edge line or no can still be discussed. I'm leaning towards edge lines.

A simple solution. Scale the single sheet on y-axis to simulate a stack of papers.

I built that plotter (a wile ago...), it worked fine with a single sheet!
