To be fair the typo is fixed in the BI version of the sticker so its probably only pre-production or maybe the very early run of the set sent to the press that has the typo.

I agree with Philo. It would be overkill. More importantly, the screw heads in all four corners are missing, as well as the circle around the Starfleet Combadge.

Ah. The Bi image that I used as source is typo-corrected , but... missing the screws and circle! All versions are missing the a and e inside holes, that's why I carefully removed them. Imho it's a caracteristic feature of this sticker and should be modeled as such. But I'll wait till we get the final version to make sure before correcting anything...

Thats the first time I have seen a BI sticker not match the physical sticker, very odd. Anyone who does get a typo sticker can request a replacement sticker sheet from customer services at least just in case you do get one.

Yesterday I was surprised to notice that the new sticker no longer has screw heads or a circle around the logo (additional reference: https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-star-trek-sticker-korrektur-kundenservice-update/). I think we should wait and see how TLG reacts to the new sticker sheet. In my opinion, the sticker looks best with the screw heads, the circle, and the boldly design. But subfiling the sticker the way Philo has already done is probably the best way to move forward.
