A bit of photogrammetry indeed gives an opening width closer to 9 ldu than to 10 ldu. Also,

Also, a little 45° bevel where the side of opening meets the hub would make the attachment look wider.
Finally, the center itself looks too thick, I think it's rather 3 ldu than 4 (with bottom stud tube 5 ldu high)
