Such a simple pattern must be possible to make as a vector pattern. Only 2 colours and large areas.
The texmap code could be simplified and use the part instead of copying the whole code.
And if it stay as a texmap, the fallback pattern is missing.

I choose a texmap because some studs are partially painted. If the pattern were on the plane surface only, I would have used a vector design.

DatHeader wanted me to add FALLBAK command, but wherever I put it, it messed my file up.
