why is this fully patterned? what is the base (uncolored) cloth color and what portion is printed?

According to Lego this is "Multicombination" - no idea how that would work on this part.

I could argue that the base, the box prim is uncoloured....
The rest is a pattern of woven fabric of red and white threads.
Many of the sails only have a printed pattern on one side.

no Im ok with both the side and backside colors (assuming its completely color "drenched"), I think the white areas should be uncolored...
(its somewhat unrealistic that a red cloth gets bleached)

I will remove the white.

in the subfiles: replace white with red or remove it? to get a holey grid, but use that twice, once red and once uncolored?
