Attempt to correct keywords
Keyword "Brickowl 118433" was correct!!!
Please correct it.
2 24 9.2 0 9.2263 9.2 0 9.2
Also 2 T-Junctions at
-1.25 0 -9.2
-9.2 0 -1.25
BOID: Good to know!
Can you please also check the Brickowl Keywords in part 3070bp1v.dat and 3068bp1g.dat.
Thanks
For vertex mismatch, simply replace "9.2 0 9.2263" by "9.2 0 9.2"
For the T-Js if you use LDPE, select the vertex -9.2 0 -1.25 and select "Actions..." then "Merge to nearest edge and split"
Do the same with the second vertex
Then apply rectifier to merge triangles in quads: select "Tools..." then "Rectifier"
Your code should look like this after:
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\3070bs01.dat
3 16 -9.2 0 -1.25 -9.2 0 -9.2 -1.25 0 -9.2

3 16 -1.25 0 -9.2 -9.2 0 -9.2 -10 0 -10
4 16 9.2 0 -9.2 -1.25 0 -9.2 -10 0 -10 10 0 -10
4 16 -10 0 10 -10 0 -10 -9.2 0 -1.25 -9.2 0 9.2
3 16 -10 0 -10 -9.2 0 -9.2 -9.2 0 -1.25
4 16 10 0 10 9.2 0 9.2 9.2 0 -9.2 10 0 -10
4 16 -10 0 10 -9.2 0 9.2 9.2 0 9.2 10 0 10
It's a good practice to use the following tools before submitting a part:
1. Edger2 to detect mismatches: "Tools...", "Edger2", select "Unmatched edges only", it will add red lines if there is a mismatch
2. TJunctionFinder to detect T-Junctions: "Tools...", "TJunctionFinder", it will highlight vertices in red and if they are not on an edge they usually should be fixed
3. Rectifier to reduce number of lines in code: "Tools...", "Rectifier", it will let you know if some triangles were automatically merged to quads
By the way for Edger2, you can change scope to file only otherwise it might detect issues that are not in your pattern.
But it’s still too complicated for me, as I’ve only used MLCAD.
If you’re interested, please modify the part – under your own name if possible.
Thanks!
I encourage you to try LDPE (https://nilsschmidt1337.github.io/ldparteditor/) for part design, you can also try LDPC (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ldpattern/) for creating pattern from an image
There are some interesting available resources about how to use them, also some guidelines on the LDraw forum. A good guide is in French but could be translated with AI: https://jc-tchang.philohome.com/manuel/LDPartEditor.htm and https://jc-tchang.philohome.com/manuel/LPC_a.htm
