Before I’ve submitted the part I‘ve of course thought about to subfile it. Since the base file was offical I’ve decided against. Can I edit the offical file? Just using the offical file fix switch? Do I’ve to ask someone before?

yes, you can edit it.
add a !HISTORY line with your tag and what you did (used subfile), change the Parttype to unofficial and edit the part.
then flip the offical file fix switch.
original part is CC 4.0, which can be edited easier.

Whilst it probably doesn't hurt to have this, a printed version of this specific variant does not exist (and it's discontinued).
