you could combine the vertexes on the top edges of the inner cutout to its corners...

quite some TJs
quite a number of surfaces cna be replaced by box-prims
The real part has some gaps in the centre till the reinforcements on the side, they look pretty prominent on the pictures avaialble, IMHO this should be modeled

Do you mean the slots adjacent to large (intentional) hole on the shorter ends?
Hm, yes they are there, but It's a bit of an odd case - the geometry has a thickness of 0 there because of how this is designed (on the "theoretical" one) causing some weird behaviour in the mold.
It is a bit similar to how 4070 (the lamp/"washing machine"/Erling 1x1 brick) sometimes has the little slot above the lip. If I model it, where shall I remove the material? Side, Top or both? Unfortunately I do not have this part to tell which looks the most realistic (are there variants?).
Most of this was taken over from the older version. Are the support sub-files at the corners still ok or shall I rework them as well?

Never mind, I think I found the issue - the sub-files need rework too.
Reworked from scratch:
*removed (hopefully) all T-junc, though that causes a bit of an ugly triangulation for stud holes. Keep it that way?
*slightly restructured, so the sub-file contains a bit more of the corner
*added the tiny slots and a missing chamfer between the supports
*corrected stud logo orientation
*Still kept all the old dimensions for the supports and the cavity angles, hope that's correct
*I am not sure I put the slots in the right spot, also I dont know their thickness (currently set to 1 LDU)
*There's a rather prominent mold pip dimple at the bottom, but I guess adding that would be too much?
*I had considered either ignore a bit of the T-junc around the stud holes or add some center vertices, comments?
*Should the geometry in the main file be further sub-filed?

I avoided using too much rects/box prims on those support structures since they are off from 90 degrees. I hope I didn't miss any other spots for box prims.
